HTC Explorer Deals On O2 UK Offer The Handset For Free

The HTC Explorer may not be the most cutting edge smartphone out there, but it is well suited to those who simply want a functional smartphone which performs everyday tasks well. If you are looking to get your hands on this phone, you will be pleased to know that you can take out a contract with one of a number of UK networks, which will even include the phone for free. In this article I will look at the HTC Explorer deals offered by popular UK network O2.

O2 is a good choice when taking out a new HTC Explorer contract, as all their deals include the handset itself for free, meaning you will make a saving of £134.99 which is the cost of the SIM free handset. The cheapest deal currently offered by O2 will set you back just £10.50 per month (for 24 months) and this includes 50 minutes of free calls and 25 free text messages. For an extra £3 a month you can also get 100MB of data which allows you to use O2's 3G network to browse the internet. After you have used 100MB of data in a given month, the service will slow down considerably and standard data charges will apply.

If you are willing to pay a little extra every month, you can enjoy much more generous allowances. These include 600 minutes of free calls to any UK network at ay time, as well an unlimited text messages and a substantial monthly data allowance of 1GB per month. At 36 per month (for 24 months) this tariff makes a great choice for those who are frequent users of mobile internet, text messages and calls. Depending on the retailer through which the contract is purchased you can also enjoy free line rental for the first few months, ranging from 13 to 22 months.

If you are in a position to pay for O2's most expensive HTC Explorer tariff, you can enjoy unlimited calls and text messages every month for the duration of the 24 month contract as well as 1 GB of data every month. As an added bonus, selected retailers are even offering a generous £474 cashback and an Apple iPod Touch 32GB and a free accessory pack to those who choose this tariff.

As you can see, O2 has an array of different deals available on the HTC Explorer, and because all of the deals come with a free HTC Explorer handset it is an ideal network to choose if you are interested in the HTC Explorer.

For more details on these and many other deals from O2 and other networks, visit PhonesLimited.co.uk where we compare every HTC Explorer deal on a daily basis to ensure you get the most for your money.

iPhone 4S Now Has 12 Month Contract Deals From Tesco Mobile

Many consumers see iPhone 4S deals as expensive especially when the total price is worked out over the minimum term of the contract period which is usually either 24 or 18 months but Tesco have set out to change this.

Tesco Mobile have now launched 12 month deals for the iPhone 4S 16GB in black which will be music to the ears of those closely watching their expenditure, with a 12 month contract you will always pay a little more upfront but when calculated over the contract term these deals work out to be a lot less expensive than those on longer contract periods.

One of these new iPhone 4S deals will cost the consumer £35 per month for the line rental and an initial upfront price of £235 for the handset, this equates to £655 over the 12 month contract period which is a full £65 cheaper than the next best deal which is offered on the 3 Mobile network.

The 3 Mobile deal is actually for a free iPhone 4S at £30 per month but is on a 24 month contract, this equates to £720 over the two years. The Tesco deal includes 750 minutes, 5000 text messages (SMS) and a substantial 1GB of data whilst the 3 Mobile package offers only 300 minutes, the same volume of SMS but just 500MB of data.

There are pros and cons to both of these deals, the advantages of the Tesco Mobile deal are obvious with a minimum tie-in period, more minutes and data for your money and cheaper overall costs whilst the 3 Mobile deal may appeal to those who cannot afford an upfront payment for the phone.

Many consumers will also know that owning a mobile phone for a full two-year term can also throw up some difficulties, should something happen to the phone such as loss or breakage and there is no insurance to cover the handset then costs can spiral when having to replace the device.

This latest iPhone 4S deal offered by Tesco Mobile is currently the cheapest way to own the latest iPhone if you are willing to part with an upfront cost for the handset, many will be put off as Tesco is not seen as a major mobile network but in these times of austerity this may no longer be a deciding factor.

3 Mobile is also not the most trusted of network operators when buying a new phone, as the youngest of the five UK networks and complaints about customer service call centres based overseas consumers are wary and sometimes stick with what they know and trust.

Unfortunately, this Tesco Mobile deal is not currently available for the white edition of the iPhone 4S, this particular model has been experiencing stock issues with some of the major retailers for some time and in many cases has ended up being a more expensive option to settling for the black colour scheme.

In conclusion, buying an iPhone 4S with the Tesco deal mentioned above will no doubt save money for many consumers, not just in upfront costs but also on their monthly bills with the extra inclusive minutes and data.

Find The Best Deals On Mobile Phones And Call Plans

Deciding upon the best phone and call plan can be problematic for many of us as mobile competitors proffer a diverse range of handsets and packages, all declaring they have the best offer available and the lowest rates.

As customers we are often confused as generally we don't know what is the best option for the price advertised and, although we try not to be, are easily influenced by an endless stream of advertising in publications and on TV, which often leads to selecting the most popular even though it's not necessarily the best one for our needs.

There are an abundance of websites selling mobile plans and phones and just as many offers to sort through, most have a billing structure that needs a degree in math to understand! It's often not until you receive the first bill that you realize there are hidden extras involved or it's simply not suited for your purposes.

Below are some basic guidelines that will help in your call plan selection taking into account budget and what you want from a call package.

The best way to go about choosing is to first select up to 5 that seem to fit your requirements, then take the time to evaluate each and compare it with other service providers before making any definite decision. Research is important as otherwise you'll only end up throwing away good money for no other reason than that you didn't spend time checking the options out properly.

We all want to cut down on our monthly bills and phone calls can add up considerably over the month, so if you can find a package that fits in with your calling habits the money saved will be worth the effort that goes into the search.

There are 2 main types of phone users - those who use it for texting and to chat with family or friends during off peak hours, and those who need it for business and are making calls in peak hours.

When checking out the different types of plans available you also need to be aware of the destination since prices will vary considerably between calls made locally, nationally or internationally. Those who regularly go abroad on business trips will benefit from a plan that offers great discounts on international calls.

Look online and it can seem as if there are an endless number of service providers declaring they have the best service and offers. Study their prices carefully as you don't want to be paying for a service that you don't actually need, or will never use. With prepaid plans you pay the same amount each month with unlimited free calls and text messages to the same network.

An idea of how much you are prepared to pay on Mobile Phone will give some guidance as to which plan will suit. Each provider's website has all the information for you to read through at your leisure, or better still go to a site that compares each mobile phone and call plans of various providers and then you can be sure the information you get is unbiased.

Forums and review sites are also a good source of information as they are honest opinions from people who have tested the phones themselves and can give advice and information on different kinds of call plans, such as a prepaid plan. It's all very well being impressed by a TV commercial from a leading service provider, but you need to consider if the plan is affordable for you and if there are any hidden elements to be aware of.

Michiel Van Kets writes articles about CompareMobilePlans.com.au, a premier website that helps Australians find the best Mobile Phone plan to suit their individual needs. Compare the top mobile phones and plans from Vodafone, Optus, Telstra, 3 Mobile, Crazy Johns and more at CompareMobilePlans.com.au, offering consumers an impartial, comprehensive and free mobile phone plan comparison. O2 Offers iPhone 4S 32GB Deals on O2

This may well seem like belated news to the average consumer but surprisingly the latest iPhone 4S has not been available to new customers on the O2 network since it initial release back in October of this year, the operator decided to keep its iPhone 4S stocks in-house for their existing customers only.

This meant that unless customers were already signed up with an O2 contract deal or on their pay as you go service then they could not buy the new iPhone 4S on the network, this has thankfully now changed as of last week when O2 deals were made available for the 16GB edition of the latest iPhone.

Now for some more good news, the larger 32GB edition of the iPhone 4S has also now been made available to new customers on the O2 network, there is now a large range of O2 contract offers for the 32GB model which start from as little as £21.50 per month.

This is the cheapest line rental charge available for the iPhone 4S 32GB on O2 but also the cheapest overall deal when you take into account the overall expenditure over the minimum 24 month contract term, the upfront cost of the phone is £399.99 which when added to the line rental cost equates to £915.99.

This is slightly cheaper than the next best deal offered by the Orange network with a £20 line rental fee and £449.99 for the price of the phone which works out to £929.99 over the 24 month contract, however there are bigger benefits to be had when you look at the inclusive volumes offered by these two deals.

The Orange deal only includes 50 minutes of calls, 50 text messages and 100MB of inclusive data to use each month, this would not be enough for an average user and they would end up paying far more once they exceed these small amounts.

The O2 deal for the iPhone 4S 32GB is far more generous with 100 minutes of calls, 500 text messages and a good 500MB of internet access which more than covers an average users data usage over the course of a month.

It is now widely expected that the white edition of the new iPhone 4S 32GB model will also now be offered on the O2 network over the coming days and even the new, larger 64GB edition for those that need extra room for storing files, music, pictures, videos and new applications.

New Blackberry Bold 9900 White Edition Lands on T-Mobile Deals

The latest colour scheme for the new Blackberry Bold 9900 has now been released on a small range of T-Mobile deals, the recently introduced white edition of the Blackberry Bold 9900 replicates the advanced features and technology found in the original black model but packs them into a new white casing.

Originally launched on Vodafone, Orange and O2 contract deals the Blackberry Bold 9900 in white can now be connected to the T-Mobile network, there are only currently two deals available for the phone on T-Mobile as this is still an exclusive model to the Phones4U Group who are dictating how they sell the phone.

These two deals are on the 'T-Mobile 20 and 25' tariffs and both include Blackberry services for email and instant messaging, the cheaper of the two is offered at £25.53 line rental per month but does require an upfront price of £179.00 for the handset.

Included in this deal are 300 minutes of calls, 300 text messages and 500MB of internet access to use each and every month, this is extended with the second deal which costs £30.64 per month and allocates double the amount of minutes at 600, 500 text messages and the same 500MB of inclusive data but with a discounted upfront cost of £49.00.

These two deals for the new white Blackberry Bold 9900 are not the cheapest available, these are offered by Vodafone for a free phone at £31 per month and the cheapest of all is from O2 at £21.50 per month with a £69.00 upfront cost equating to £585.00 over the minimum term contract period of 24 months.

This latest Blackberry Bold 9900 in white and black colour schemes is the most advanced smart phone from the Bold series to be released so far, powered by a 1.2GHz processor and offering both a touch screen and physical qwerty keypad it is the ultimate in messaging devices.

On the reverse of the phone is a 5 mega pixel camera which can capture video at 720p HD quality and uniquely the Bold 9900 can play back video at the same resolution, for internet usage there is built-in Wi-Fi and 3.5G support for fast connections plus GPS with Blackberry Maps for satellite navigation.

The Blackberry 9900 also features the latest operating system; BBOS7 which is also found in other new models such as the Blackberry Curve 9360, Curve 9380, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860, this has further improved on previous editions with faster and smoother handling of operations as well as extra support for multiple file formats.

It is not currently known just how long the Phones4U Group have the exclusive launch period for this new Blackberry phone but once it has finished other independent retailers and the UK networks will be able to offer the phone which will expand the number of deals available on the T-Mobile network.

O2 iPhone 4S Deals Finally Launched for Non Existing Customers

The brand new iPhone 4S has now been on sale since the early part of October 2011 but one mobile network has been missing from the portfolio of deals on offer for this latest iPhone.

Up until today, consumers have been able to order iPhone 4S deals on Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile and 3 Mobile but the O2 network took a very different decision with their limited stocks of this latest Apple phone, instead of offering deals to everyone as with the other networks they decided to only offer the new iPhone 4S to their existing customers as an upgrade.

This has been the case since the launch of the iPhone 4S with many disgruntled and mystified consumers unable to understand why they could not order a brand new iPhone on the O2 network, well the day has now come where this has all changed and surprisingly it is not offered directly from the operator.

An independent mobile phones retailer is the first to break cover with new O2 deals for the iPhone 4S, although not as competitive when it comes to owning the phone free of charge with a contract deal there are some lower line rental options that do compete well with the other networks.

One in particular is on the O2 100 tariff which for £21.50 per month provides 100 minutes of calls, 500 text messages and 500MB of internet access every month and demands an upfront fee for the iPhone 4S of £299.99, equated of the minimum term contract period of 24 months this totals £815.99 making it the third cheapest deal available for the latest iPhone.

For those not wanting to pay an upfront price for the latest Apple phone there is an O2 contract deal with a line rental charge of £47 per month with 1200 minutes of calls, unlimited SMS and the same 500MB of data on offer but total this deal up over the 24 months and the consumer is looking at spending a staggering £1128, that is a whole £312.01 more expensive.

That said, the lower line rental deal may not be suitable for some users as the lower 100 minutes of calls offered may be exceeded before the end of the month, when choosing a deal for the new iPhone 4S consumers need to try to match their usage requirements as closely as possible to negate any extra charges for exceeding their allocated calls, text and data volumes.

It is also expected that the white edition of the iPhone 4S as well as the 32GB and 64GB models will also soon be offered on the O2 network as the independent retailers start to collate their deals.

Talk Mobile Releases Samsung Galaxy Note on Full Range of Deals

Larger than your average smart phone, the new Samsung Galaxy Note offers the biggest touch screen display of any current smart phone on the market with many describing the device as a cross between a phone and a tablet.

This new Android powered handset has now been released by Talk Mobile, a virtual network operator in the UK who have made Samsung Galaxy Note deals available across their entire range of pay monthly contract offers, these include 12 month tariffs which so many consumers look for these days.

Talk Mobile offer one of the cheapest line rental deals available in the UK and have made the Samsung Galaxy Note available on this affordable monthly offer, with a line rental of just £7.99 per month this is officially the cheapest deal available for the new Galaxy Note and is known as the 'Talk Mobile Saver £7.99' tariff.

Although this is the cheapest current deal it is not ideal for many consumers due to the low volume of inclusive calls and text plus no data allocation on offer which will need to be paid as an extra, with just 50 minutes of calls and 150 text messages this Samsung Galaxy Note deal is for very light users.

When calculated over the minimum term 24 month contract period with an upfront price for the Galaxy Note of £459.99 this deal is only £5.24 cheaper than the next best deal offered by the O2 network which includes 200 minutes of calls and unlimited text messages although again the consumer will need to add data to their tariff using 'Bolt-Ons' offered by the operator.

Where these new Samsung Galaxy Note deals from Talk Mobile do come into their own is when we look at 12 month contract deals which although cost more per month with the cheapest at £12 line rental they do include good amounts of minutes, text and data.

The 'Talk Mobile Smart 12' tariff includes a very generous 1GB of inclusive internet access (data) which this Android phone will use to connect to the internet via 3.5G data support to facilitate browsing, email, social networking, watching online content and downloading new applications from the Android Market.

Also included in this £12 per month Samsung Galaxy Note deal are 200 minutes of calls which can be used at any time of the day and to call other mobile networks including landlines as well as 200 text messages every month.

For the average user the 'Smart 12' tariff will cover their daily needs and for those that love to use their smart phone on the internet will more than suffice with that 1GB of allocated data.

The White Edition of the iPhone 4S Lands on O2 Deals

The black edition of the new iPhone 4S was released yesterday on O2 deals for the first time since its initial launch back in October of this year and now the white model has also now been made available on O2 with exactly the same deals.

This may not sound like ground-breaking news but up until now both of these colour schemes of the iPhone 4S were only available to existing customers already on the O2 network as an upgrade to their existing handset.

Because of initial stock shortages that have effected all suppliers of the new iPhone 4S, O2 took the unique decision to only sell the phone to its own loyal customer base rather than deplete stocks by allowing everyone to own the phone on their network.

This has obviously upset many consumers who are currently on a rival network but wanting the iPhone 4S on O2, this has all now changed although it is not the network itself that has made these iPhone 4S deals available but an independent retailer.

Consumers can now connect either the black or white edition of the iPhone 4S to a large selection of O2 deals which start with line rental costs of just £21.50 per month and an upfront price for the phone of £299.99, this is currently the cheapest deal available for the phone on O2 with an overall expenditure of £815.99 over the minimum contract period of 24 months.

There are also now deals available on O2 that offer a free phone, however these start at £47 per month which means spending an extra £312.01 over the 24 months, that said customers do get plenty more inclusive minutes and text for their money.

The cheapest deal only includes 100 minutes of calls and 500 text messages with a monthly data allocation of 500MB whilst the more expensive deal that includes a free iPhone 4S provides 1200 minutes and unlimited text messaging with the same 500MB of internet access.

Consumers can add 'Bolt Ons' to both of these deals to boost up the data allocation with an extra 500MB on offer for those that use their phone for data hungry activities such as watching streaming media like video clips or downloading lots of content such as music and games.

Now that the iPhone 4S 16GB is available in both black and white colour schemes on O2 it is widely expected that the larger memory editions will also follow suit, this means that both the 32GB and 64GB iPhone 4S models should be available soon in both colour schemes.

If you would like to see the new iPhone 4S White deals on O2 or take a look at the black edition iPhone 4S deals then please feel free to head over to our website: Phones Limited.

HTC Sensation Contract Deals Launched by Tesco Mobile

The original edition of the HTC Sensation has now been available on the market for over 6 months and has since been joined by two new models in the range; the HTC Sensation XE and XL smart phones.

Since its release the HTC Sensation has had contract deals available from all of the leading mobile phone networks including O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange and 3 Mobile as well as the virtual network; Talk Mobile and now a seventh operator has finally released pay monthly offers for this popular Android phone.

Tesco Mobile are another virtual operator who use a main network for their signal but offer in-house customer services, although there are a number of contract tariffs supplied by the network they have only currently released one deal today for the HTC Sensation.

They are expected to release the rest of their contract deals for this phone very soon but for now the offer they have available is good value for money and available on the 'Tesco Mobile 750 tariff', this costs £25 line rental per month and provides the phone free in the package.

Also included in this Tesco Mobile deal are 750 minutes of calls which the user can make to any mobile network at any time, 5000 text messages and a generous 500MB of allocated monthly data which the HTC Sensation will make good use of, for heavier internet users this inclusive data can be doubled to a large 1GB allocation per month by simply paying an extra £2.50.

For those that like to watch online videos, download films and large files or stream services such as music and radio the extra 500MB of data could prove to be a real money saver, although the average UK monthly usage of data is currently around 300MB these previously mentioned activities are all heavy on data usage.

If the consumer is simply using their Sensation smart phone for web browsing, checking emails and social networking then the 500MB should be more than enough.

What does the HTC Sensation offer in terms of features?

Even though the phone has been superseded by the new HTC Sensation XE with a faster processor and the HTC Sensation XL with a larger screen this original model still competes with many rival, best-selling smart phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4.

Offering a large 4.3 inch SLCD touch screen with a vivid display, a fast 1.2GHz processor, expandable memory, an 8 mega pixel camera which can record full HD quality 1080p video clips, the latest Android 2.3 operating system with access to the Android Market and the HTC Sense user interface the Sensation is a very desirable, fast and sleek phone.

This latest release on the Tesco Mobile network is the last launch of the phone on UK networks, the phone is also now available on Pay As You Go deals as well as available as a SIM free and unlocked handset with no network locks or branding for those that prefer not to take out contract deals.

If you would like to see the latest HTC Sensation deals or check out the new HTC Sensation XL then please feel free to browse our website: Phones Limited.

HTC Sensation XE Deals on O2

The new HTC Sensation XE has now been released in the UK on the full range of O2 pay monthly contract deals which allow for consumers to order this latest Sensation smart phone from HTC without having to pay any upfront costs.

O2 tariffs start at just £10.50 line rental per month and although the lower charge packages do require an upfront payment for the phone can still work out more cost-effective over their minimum term contract period, however many consumer look for deals that include the phone free of charge and O2 provides this at only £21.50 per month.

This is one of the lowest tariffs currently available from any of the UK network operators that provides a free HTC Sensation XE phone, the tariff is called 'O2 100' and it includes 100 minutes of calls that can be used to call any network at any time.

Also included are 500 text messages for those that like to send SMS to their friends and family and a generous 500MB of data which provides for internet access, email, downloading new applications and updating of many of the phones features.

The HTC Sensation XE is an Android phone which means that it heavily relies on an internet connection for updating things like news, weather and applications, this can be performed either via Wi-Fi or when this is not available via a 3G connection which is why the inclusive data that O2 offers is so important.

The user can also add extra data to their O2 tariff with 'Bolt Ons', these extra packages offer up to 1GB of inclusive internet access every month for an extra £10 fee, this particular tariff already has a 500MB 'Bolt On' included so an extra 500MB would cost just £4 extra.

Aside from the data 'Bolt On' there are also a selection of other services that can also be added to the users account with their HTC Sensation XE, these include extra MMS, 'Data Abroad', Insurance, Calls to Abroad and Calls back to the UK.

Further to this, O2 categorises their customers based on their monthly expenditure and then offers them 'O2 Rewards', this means that they always give anything they offer to new customers to their existing customers as well as letting bigger spend customers upgrade early and receive handset discounts when upgrading.

The HTC Sensation XE is available across a number of the UK networks, these currently include Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone and 3 Mobile as well as now being offered as a Pay As You Go and SIM free phone.

If you are looking for the very latest HTC Sensation XE deals or even the new iPhone 4S deals as they are launched then please feel free to have a look at our website.

Why Are Apple iPhone 4 8GB Deals More Expensive Than iPhone 4 16GB Deals?

The release of the latest iPhone 4S from Apple this month also saw the introduction of iPhone 4 8GB deals from all of the UK networks, however many consumers may be a little confused as to why this new, smaller memory capacity model has more expensive deals than the current iPhone 4 16GB edition.

Common sense dictates that a product offering double the memory of another should in theory cost more but the new iPhone 4 8GB deals are in fact more expensive on paper until you dig deeper and look at why this is.

The iPhone 4 16GB has been around now for some time and a free phone can be ordered by consumers for as little as £30 per month, the new 8GB edition however, will set the consumer back £35 line rental per month for a free phone.

There is a very simple explanation, because the 16GB edition iPhone 4 has been around for a while now the retailers are able to sell what they refer to as refurbished stock, these are phones that have been sent out to consumers and returned within the mandatory 7 to 14 day window for multiple reasons.

The returned handsets are then carefully inspected and any problems seen to be engineers before being given approval for sale as a refurbished handset, these are then sold at a discount to consumers as either refurbished or more commonly 'clearance' mobile phone deals.

The refurbished iPhone 4 phones are supplied with exactly the same manufacturers warranty should anything go wrong with the phone that is not user error and come boxed (usually replaced with a standard box) with the relevant accessories, charger, headphones and manual.

Most retailers state that there might be minor damage to the packaging due to the phone already being sent out once before as well as minor imperfections in the look of the handset itself, however with the greatly reduced pricing for these 'next to new' phones many consumers are willing to take up these far more affordable offers.

The new iPhone 4 8GB has only been available for a very short period of time and refurbished versions of the phone are not yet currently available, rest assured though that as soon as they are the retailers will be adding them to their websites with discounted line rental deals that will make this new iPhone even more affordable than its larger 16GB edition.

If you would like to take a look at the latest iPhone 4 8GB deals or peruse iPhone 4 deals for refurbished handsets then feel free to take a look at our website: Phones Limited.

Apple's iPhone 4 8GB Deals Receive First Discounts

The new iPhone 4 8GB edition from Apple offers a lower memory capacity for a smaller price tag than the two larger capacity 16GB and 32GB models but up until now has been priced very similarly to the deals for the 16GB refurbished handset.

Retailers have been able to offer significant discounts on the iPhone 4 16GB as a 'clearance' phone by inspecting, refurbishing and re-boxing their returned stock which has kept deals for the 16GB edition very close to those of a brand new 8GB version.

This has now changed as mobile phone suppliers secure cheaper prices for the new iPhone 4 8GB and pass the savings onto consumers via new discounted pay monthly contract deals, on release the new 8GB iPhone would have cost a minimum of £35 per month over a two year contract deal which was the same for the 16GB model.

Now, the brand new Apple iPhone 4 8GB can be ordered on T-Mobile with no upfront costs for as little as £30.64 line rental per month, that is a substantial saving of £104.64 over the minimum 24 month agreement.

Included in this T-Mobile tariff known as 'iPhone 30 + Unlimited Text' are 300 minutes of inclusive calls which can be used to call any network (including landlines) at any time of the day, an unlimited number of text messages which again can be sent to any network and a healthy 500MB of internet access which is essential for the iPhone 4 8GB to operate at full capacity.

The closest any other network gets to this free offer for the 8GB iPhone is from Orange which for a £31 per month line rental charge will allocate either 100 or 200 inclusive minutes on two separate tariffs, the first offers the fewer minutes but with unlimited SMS and substantial 1GB of inclusive data whilst the second only 250 text messages and 500MB of internet access.

The other three UK networks currently offering deals for the iPhone 4 8GB charge significantly more per month for a free phone, 3 Mobile ask for £35 per month, Vodafone require £36 and O2 are the most expensive at £37 line rental costs.

The 8GB edition of the iPhone 4 is to be the only model continued to be manufactured as the 16GB and 32GB versions are phased out in favour of the new iPhone 4S, this latest Apple release is already available in 16GB and 32GB variants but also a new, larger 64GB edition.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Deals Released on Orange

The next Google smart phone has now been released and further improves on the previous Nexus S, the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus has dropped the Google branding from its name in favour of the manufacturers brand and is set to be the most advanced Android phone to date.

The brand new Samsung Galaxy Nexus has already had deals released on the Orange network in the UK which gives consumers a good idea of pricing when it does eventually get launched on the other network operators, currently the cheapest deal for a free Galaxy Nexus phone stands at £41 line rental per month which is a very similar pricing structure to the recently released Apple iPhone 4S.

There is a choice of two Orange tariffs at the stated £41 per month cost, the first is on the Orange Dolphin 41 deal which sacrifices data for more inclusive minutes and the second and more competitive of the two Samsung Galaxy Nexus deals is on Orange Panther 41.

This second tariff offers 900 minutes of calls which allows the user call any network (including UK landlines) at any time, there is also an unlimited number of free text messages included every month as well as a very useful 1GB of internet access.

This last point is very important, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will need good access to the internet to update its applications and facilitate web browsing and emailing, as an Android powered phone it also uses connections for access to the Android Market where users can download new content, games and applications to further personalise their handset.

When it comes to features the Galaxy Nexus is a top end handset that will always be the first to receive any software updates, shipped with the very latest Android 4.0 operating system known as Ice Cream Sandwich this new Samsung phone will be the first in the UK to feature the new system.

Hardware includes a 5.0 mega pixel camera capable of recording full 1080p HD video, a secondary front facing camera to facilitate face to face video calls, a large 4.65 inch Super AMOLED touch screen display all run by a powerful 1.2GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM.

New features found in the latest Android 4.0 software include NFC (near Field Communication) support for sharing files with compatible devices and facilitating mobile payments, Google+ integration and a new screen unlock feature that is controlled by facial recognition.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to be released on further UK networks very soon, for now only Orange deals are available although both a pay as you go and SIM free launch are also planned.

Nokia Lumia 800 Gets Cheapest Deals on T-Mobile

The first of the Windows powered smart phones from Nokia has now been released in the UK, the new Nokia Lumia 800 now has deals available on O2, Orange and T-Mobile networks with contract offers including free gifts available for consumers to order now.

T-Mobile are the third UK network to launch deals for the new Nokia Lumia and are now offering the cheapest package that includes a free phone, this is on the 'T-Mobile £25 + Internet' tariff which cost £25.53 line rental per month and includes 500 text messages, 500 minutes of calls and 500MB of data allowance for internet usage.

Compared with rival networks, Orange and Vodafone offers a free Nokia Lumia 800 at £26 line rental whilst O2 are the most expensive at £32 per month, Vodafone are currently the only operator to be offering free gifts with their packages which include a choice of either a Playstation Move, Skullcandy earphones, a Bluetooth hands-free car kit or a Bluetooth headset.

What does the free Nokia Lumia 800 on T-Mobile offer?

The Nokia 800 is the first handset from the new Nokia Lumia range which runs the latest Windows Phone 7.5 operating system update which is also known as 'Mango', this new software provides a completely new way to personalise the home screen using intelligent 'Tiles' which can show updates for weather and news, friends updates on social networks, incoming messages and emails or even video clips and favourite photographs.

This new 'tiles' layout looks and feels very much more modern and current than the static icons used in both the Android OS of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S2 and iOS 5 used by the new iPhone 4S, the user experience is more fluid and puts the user in complete control of how they use their phone.

The phone itself offers a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen display which has been cleverly curved to make it look like it sinks into the sides of the phone, this effect also gives the illusion that the tiles and graphics on the main home screen actually jump out of the display.

On the reverse of the handset is an 8 mega pixel camera featuring Carl Zeiss optics which is able to capture high quality 720p HD video clips and there is also a front facing camera for those that like to make face to face video calls.

The Nokia Lumia 800 is powered by a 1.4GHz processing chip for fast and smooth operation, multiple application management and a speedy user interface, this in turn is powered by a 1450 mAh battery which produces up to 14 days of standby time on 3G and 9.5 hours of talk time.

Many consumers will be forgiven for mistaking the new Nokia Lumia handset for the recently released Nokia N9 as both phones have a very similar minimalistic design format with tapered corners and very few buttons, however the Lumia 800 does have 3 navigation buttons located just underneath the main screen which should allow people to tell the phones apart.

The Nokia Lumia 800 is expected to be released on further UK networks very soon, these include the dedicated 3G network; 3 Mobile, as well as the virtual network Talk Mobile.

iPhone 4 8GB Gets Cheapest Deals So Far

The new 8GB edition of the iPhone 4 which was released at the same time that iPhone 4S deals hit the market is now officially the cheapest model available of the fourth generation Apple smart phone.

Whilst stocks start to run dry of the 16GB and 32GB models of the iPhone 4 the new 8GB model is taking up the slack and has recently had deals released by independent mobile phone retailers that finally put the phone in the same price bracket as many rival smart phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC Sensation.

The current cheapest deals for the iPhone 4 8GB start at just £25 line rental per month and include a free phone in the package, one of the most competitive of these deals is on 3 Mobile and the tariff is called 'Text 100', this offers 100 minutes of calls which can be used at any time and to call any network, 5000 text messages and a generous 500MB of internet access every month.

The next best deal is a £25 per month tariff from Orange which includes 75 minutes of calls, 125 SMS and 250MB of inclusive data on the 'Orange iPhone 25' package, the inclusive volumes are much lower than those offered by the 3 Mobile network but the iPhone 4 8GB is included free of charge as before.

Vodafone now also have a reduced price deal at £26 per month for a free phone whilst T-Mobile's cheapest offer that includes a free handset currently costs £30.64 and O2 a lot more at £37 per month.

Before these latest price cuts consumers could not order a free phone for under £35 per month meaning these latest deals equate to a substantial saving of £240 over the minimum term 24 month contract period.

The 8GB edition is set to replace all iPhone 4 models as production of the larger memory units becomes restricted to just the new iPhone 4S, this latest Apple smart phone is offered in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants in both black and white colour schemes.

The new 8GB iPhone 4 offers all of the same great features and design as the other two memory formats and is simply able to keep its price lower by offering the smaller memory capacity, this means that the new iOS5 operating system which is standard on the new iPhone 4S and iPad is also included in this cheaper model.

HTC Sensation XE Deals Launched on 3 Mobile

The brand new HTC Sensation XE has already been launched on O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone deals in the UK but has now found a new network partner with the dedicated 3G operator; 3 Mobile.

Known for their competitive contract deals, 3 Mobile offers the HTC Sensation XE with more inclusive minutes and text plus data allowance for a smaller monthly line rental charge than any other network and since the launch of their extremely competitive 'One Plan' consumers can now enjoy unlimited data usage known as 'All You Can Eat' by the network.

HTC Sensation XE deals on the 'One Plan' start with line rentals at just £28 per month and 3 Mobile are offering a free Sensation XE on deals costing £30 per month and upwards, this popular tariff choice also includes a substantial 2000 minutes of calls which can be used to call at any time to any network as well as 5000 text messages to use every month.

In comparison with HTC Sensation XE deals from the other networks these 3 Mobile packages offer consumers the best value for money, as an example, for £31 per month on O2 the best tariff includes just 300 minutes and a capped usage of 1GB of internet access, on Vodafone for the same money there are 900 minutes included but only 500MB of data whilst Orange offers 600 minutes with 1GB of data.

If the consumer does connect their new HTC phone to the 'One Plan' on 3 Mobile they will gain an extra 1100 minutes with that unlimited data usage over the next best deal, this tariff also offers some other great additions for the user with free voice mail and an extra 5000 minutes that can be used to called other mobile phones on the network.

The reason that the inclusive unlimited data is so important when buying an HTC Sensation XE is that the majority of the features require internet access in order to perform and update, running the Android operating system also means that there is access to the Android Market where again the user will need to use data to download new applications, games and entertainment.

The features that use the most data of any smart phone are usually some of the most popular activities, these include watching videos either on Facebook or Youtube which quickly uses up any allocated internet access, with this in mind the 3 Mobile deal with 'All You Can Eat' inclusive data is by far the best choice when buying a new HTC Sensation XE.

Nokia Lumia 800 Launches on Pay As You Go Deals

Nokia's first smart phone to run the latest Windows Phone 7 operating system has now been released on Pay As You Go deals, the Nokia Lumia 800 was initially launched on contract deals from Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2, Orange, Talk Mobile and most recently 3 Mobile but this is the first time that this new handset has been offered without any long-term commitment.

The Nokia Lumia 800 on Pay As You Go allows consumers who do not like to sign up to lengthy contract deals to own this new phone and then simply 'top up' their calling credit when needed, the prepay Nokia Lumia is also ideal for those that cannot pass the strict network credit checks for pay monthly offers as there are none to get past when buying a prepay phone.

3 Mobile have launched the Nokia Lumia 800 on pay as you go with an asking price of £399.99, that's a full £100 cheaper than both the latest iOS5 powered iPhone 4S and Android 4.0 driven Samsung Galaxy Nexus but this new Nokia runs on the latest Windows 7 operating system known as the Mango edition so what does it offer in comparison?

The Windows operating software of the Nokia Lumia 800 uses a new 'Live Tiles' set-up on the main home screen which the user can personalise with their favourite and most important information such as incoming messages and emails, weather and news reports, short cuts to pictures and videos plus social networking features that constantly update whilst the phone is turned on.

There is also comprehensive support for Microsoft's mobile titles such as outlook for email and office for documents plus access to the new Microsoft 'Skydrive' remote storage service which users can utilise to upload up to 25GB of data to save on the internal phone memory of 16GB.

The main touch screen of the new Nokia Lumia measures 3.7 inches and uses AMOLED and 'ClearBlack' technology for a vibrant, crisp and sharp display, the curved edges of this screen almost seem to vanish into the sides of the casing creating a very minimalistic design to the phone with a tapered top and bottom to the casing.

Although not as fast as the top-end new smart phones such as the HTC Sensation XE with its dual core 1.5GHz processor or the Samsung Galaxy Note's 1.4GHz dual core chip the single core 1.4GHz processor of the Nokia Lumia does produce smooth and fast results and with a smaller screen than its competitors the main power is directed to running multiple applications and the user interface.

This latest release of the Nokia Lumia 800 on Pay As You Go deals leaves just one further launch for the handset, this is the availability of the phone as a SIM free and unlocked unit with no network connection which should take place very soon.

iPhone 4 Deals Continue To Be Discounted Since the Release Of iPhone 4S Deals

The new iPhone 4s has now had deals available for some two weeks and has exceeded all expectations to make it the fastest selling iPhone to date, this has had a knock-on effect with iPhone 4 deals as retailers clear their shelves of their remaining stocks.

Greatly benefiting the consumer, iPhone 4 deals have continued to be heavily discounted for both the 16GB and 32GB models which are no longer being manufactured, however there is a new 8GB model that is to take the place of these two larger memory capacity phones which has also now been released alongside the iPhone 4S.

Just a few weeks ago, it would have been impossible for consumers to hope to gain a free iPhone 4 deal without paying at least £35 upwards in line rental costs, however the cheapest deal for a free iPhone 4 now currently sites at just £30 per month providing a massive saving of £120 over the minimum 24 month contract period.

These discounted deals are usually for what it known as a 'clearance' handset, this means that the phone has already been sent out to a customer and returned within the mandatory 7 day window, inspected and refurbished if required and then re-boxed for sale at a discounted price.

In comparison, the new iPhone 4 8GB does not currently have 'clearance' deals available and so in some cases is actually costing more per month to buy than the larger 16GB model.

The new iPhone 4S has been a sales phenomenon, in its first 24 hours of being made available to consumers there were a staggering 1 million handsets sold, the excitement around the release of this new iPhone has not waned and recent reports suggest a further 3 million units were sold in the following 2 days.

There is one problem with the current iPhone 4 starting to fall out of stock with some retailers, they are now only selling the phone on their preferred networks to gain the most amount of commission out of their remaining stocks, this means that the choice for consumers when requiring the iPhone 4 on a chosen network has dwindled.

As an example of this, the iPhone 4 is only currently available with one supplier on the O2 network for the 16GB model whereas before the launch of the iPhone 4S there were at least 7 competing retailers offering the handset on O2.

There still remains a good quantity of stock for the iPhone 4 in the UK, however as the refurbished handsets start to run dry, deals will follow suit. Should a consumer be looking to buy this model of iPhone in the near future it may be a wise idea to start looking now rather than later to save some money.

If you are looking to buy the recently discounted iPhone 4 deals or are in the market for iPhone 4S deals as they become available then please feel free to check out our website: Phones Limited.

HTC Sensation XE Lands on O2 Deals

The new HTC Sensation XE has now been released on O2 deals in the UK, this upgraded version of the HTC Sensation packs in the manufacturers latest acquisition; Beats Audio, as well as many more improvements to what was already a very good handset.

HTC Sensation deals on O2 join those previously released on Vodafone and Orange and now offer this brand new Android phone free of charge from just £21.50 line rental per month, in comparison, a free phone will set the consumer back £26 on Orange and Vodafone's cheapest deal for a free phone currently costs £31 per month.

So what do you get for your money?

Firstly the tariff, the £21.50 tariff from O2 includes 100 minutes of calls top use at any time to call any network, 500 text messages and 500MB of internet access to use every month, this is a 24 month contract deal and beats the nearest competing retailer by a whopping £80.

Secondly, the new HTC Sensation XE. A very worthy upgrade to the Sensation which is still selling well in the UK, it boasts a faster dual core processor at an industry leading 1.5GHz and a bigger battery that many will welcome with the power-hungry Android system which is the very latest 2.3.4 version.

The overall dimensions and looks of the phone have changed little from the winning combination of the previous model, however there are some new red accents discretely placed around the exterior of the phone to tell it apart.

This means that the HTC Sensation XE boasts the same, high quality, 8 mega pixel camera supporting full 1080p HD video recording, that large 4.3 inch SLCD touch screen display, a secondary camera on the front of the phone for facilitating video calling and an FM radio with a 3.5mm audio jack to accommodate standard headphones.

The new Beats Audio software further enhances the listening experience via both the headphones and external speakers with a higher quality and deeper sound than many phones currently available.

Also on board is Wi-Fi connectivity along with GPS, Bluetooth and fast 3.5G support for internet access and downloading of new applications from the Android Market which now boasts over 200,000 available.

Further deals are expected to be released for the HTC Sensation XE from T-Mobile and 3 Mobile over the coming days which should make the existing deals even more competitive as the retailer vie for the cheapest deals.
