Nokia Lumia 800 Released in Pink, Blue and Black Colour Schemes

The brand new Nokia Lumia series featuring the latest Windows Phone 7.5 operating system now has three models available, the Nokia Lumia 800 is now available in Pink, Blue and Black colour schemes in the UK.

The most recently released pink Nokia Lumia 800 has been made available as a SIM free phone unlocked to all networks allowing the user to choose which SIM card they prefer to use in their new phone.

The Nokia Lumia 800 Blue edition was also recently launched and is currently available on Vodafone, O2, Orange and T-Mobile contract deals as well as being released as a SIM free phone, O2, Orange and Vodafone have now made the blue edition of the phone available free of charge on contract deals with line rental charges of £26 and above.

The original Nokia Lumia 800 in black is available on all of the major UK networks on both 18 and 24 month contract deals as well as being launched as a Pay As You Go phone on 3 Mobile, Orange and T-Mobile, this first edition of the Nokia Lumia is also available as a SIM free phone for those not wanting to connect to a network.

All three colour schemes of this latest Nokia smart phone offer exactly the same features, specifications and technology and are simply supplied with different coloured exterior casings.

These features and specifications include an 8 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics which can record 720p HD video, a 1.2GHz processor for a smooth and fast user experience, Wi-Fi, 3.5G network support, GPS and Bluetooth.

The main feature of this new Nokia phone has to be its operating system which is the latest edition of the Windows Phone software known as the Mango edition, this very clever and engaging operating system uses what are known as 'Live Tiles' to display constantly updated information on the main home screen.

Nokia have also installed their own new software titles including one called Nokia Drive, this actually allows the user to download maps to use with the GPS function so that there is no need for a 3G connection when using satellite navigation.

Two other new Nokia features include a streaming radio service as the phone has no built-in FM radio and access to the Nokia Music Store where users can download a choice of thousands of the latest music tracks or choose from a large library of classic titles.

These three colour schemes of the Lumia 800 phone are the only ones announced so far, however a new, budget Lumia phone featuring the same Windows Phone 7.5 OS has been announced in a far larger range of colours and is called the Nokia Lumia 710 which should be available soon.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Deals Released on Orange

The next Google smart phone has now been released and further improves on the previous Nexus S, the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus has dropped the Google branding from its name in favour of the manufacturers brand and is set to be the most advanced Android phone to date.

The brand new Samsung Galaxy Nexus has already had deals released on the Orange network in the UK which gives consumers a good idea of pricing when it does eventually get launched on the other network operators, currently the cheapest deal for a free Galaxy Nexus phone stands at £41 line rental per month which is a very similar pricing structure to the recently released Apple iPhone 4S.

There is a choice of two Orange tariffs at the stated £41 per month cost, the first is on the Orange Dolphin 41 deal which sacrifices data for more inclusive minutes and the second and more competitive of the two Samsung Galaxy Nexus deals is on Orange Panther 41.

This second tariff offers 900 minutes of calls which allows the user call any network (including UK landlines) at any time, there is also an unlimited number of free text messages included every month as well as a very useful 1GB of internet access.

This last point is very important, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will need good access to the internet to update its applications and facilitate web browsing and emailing, as an Android powered phone it also uses connections for access to the Android Market where users can download new content, games and applications to further personalise their handset.

When it comes to features the Galaxy Nexus is a top end handset that will always be the first to receive any software updates, shipped with the very latest Android 4.0 operating system known as Ice Cream Sandwich this new Samsung phone will be the first in the UK to feature the new system.

Hardware includes a 5.0 mega pixel camera capable of recording full 1080p HD video, a secondary front facing camera to facilitate face to face video calls, a large 4.65 inch Super AMOLED touch screen display all run by a powerful 1.2GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM.

New features found in the latest Android 4.0 software include NFC (near Field Communication) support for sharing files with compatible devices and facilitating mobile payments, Google+ integration and a new screen unlock feature that is controlled by facial recognition.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to be released on further UK networks very soon, for now only Orange deals are available although both a pay as you go and SIM free launch are also planned.

3 Mobile Deals With Unlimited Internet Released for HTC Sensation XL

The latest HTC Sensation phone which features the largest touch screen display released to date by the manufacturer has now been picked up by the UK mobile network 3 Mobile, the new HTC Sensation XL can now be ordered by consumers on the networks coveted 'One Plan' deals which include unlimited internet access.

As an Android powered handset, the Sensation XL relies heavily on connections to the internet to update downloaded applications, retrieve emails, keep services such as news and weather forecasts maintained and facilitate social networking so these new 3 Mobile HTC Sensation XL deals with 'All You Can Eat' data are an ideal match for this high specification smart phone.

One Plan deals for the new HTC Sensation XL start at £35 line rental per month, although a free phone is not currently available at this price it is offered at the next price band up costing £40 per month, however this higher tariff works out to be £120 more expensive over the minimum term 24 month agreement so it is well worth considering paying the upfront price of £79 on the lower tariff.

Both of these 'One Plan' HTC Sensation XL deals include exactly the same volumes of inclusive minutes of calls, text messages and that unlimited data so for the sake of paying a little upfront cost the consumer will save money over the contract period.

So what does the new HTC Sensation XL offer?

As mentioned, this latest Android phone features a large 4.7 inch touch screen display which is the same found on the new HTC Titan although this is a Windows powered device, there is only one other smart phone on the market that can top the size of the screen which is Samsung's new Galaxy Note which measures a staggering 5.3 inches and is closer to being a tablet device rather than a phone.

Powering the Super LCD display of the Sensation XL is a 1.5GHz processor along with a good-sized 1600 mAh battery, although not as fast as the dual core 1.5GHz processor of the new HTC Sensation XE the XL runs smoothly and provides plenty of battery life.

On the back of the phone is an 8 mega pixel camera which matches that of the best-selling Samsung Galaxy S2 and new iPhone 4S and offers HD video capture at 720p as well as a dual LED flash for snapping in poor light.

The unique selling point of this new smart phone is that it features HTC's newly acquired Beats Audio technology which only found in one other handset; the Sensation XE, this new music software further enhances the listeners experience both through the branded earphones that come in the box as well as the phones external speaker system.

This latest release of the HTC Sensation XL on 3 Mobile follows launches just last week on O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Orange contract deals leaving just the virtual network; Talk Mobile to pick up this great new phone.
