An Introduction To Some Popular HTC Sensation XL Tariffs

The HTC Sensation XL is one of the more stylish offerings from the popular Taiwanese manufacturer. It has a number of impressive features, most notably Beats Audio by Dr Dre which makes this the perfect phone for music lovers.

If you would like to get your hands on this device, you can choose from a selection of tariffs provided by various UK networks. As an added bonus, many of these include a free HTC Sensation XL handset and in this article I will look at a couple of offers which include this, and look at how they differ in terms of their allowances and costs.

T-Mobile
One of T-Mobile's best packages is available for £26 per month, and comes with a free HTC Sensation XL handset which is preferable to most than paying the £389 for the SIM free phone. This contract lasts for 24 months, and within each of these you are allotted 300 minutes of free calls, unlimited text messages and 750 MB of data. Based on average smartphone usage, most people should find these allowances more than ample.

Vodafone
One of Vodafone's more attractive tariffs is similar in many ways to the aforementioned T-Mobile one. Like the above tariff, you get a free HTC Sensation XL, unlimited free text messages and 300 free minutes per month. The data is slightly less, at 500 MB per month, however this should not prove to be too much of a problem if you intend to do the majority of your internet browsing over Wi-Fi. In any case, 500 MB is way above the average data usage for consumers in the UK, so unless you are a very frequent user of 3G data, you should be fine with this contract. This also costs a relatively affordable £26 per month and lasts for 24 months after which time you can renew or cancel the contract.

O2
I have looked at some of the more affordable tariffs so far, but if you are willing to spend a bit more every month, then you can enjoy much more generous allowances. This is perfectly demonstrated by the O2 Unlimited plan. As you may have guessed from the name, users are treated to unlimited free calls and text messages to any network at any time. Data is restricted though, with 1 GB provided every month over the network's 3G coverage. 1 GB is actually a huge amount of data, and it is unlikely that anyone would use that much in a month. Regardless of this, Wi-Fi is of course also free and has no restrictions. This tariff will set you back £67 per month (for 24 months) and includes a free HTC Sensation.

As you can see, there are several options available if you want a free HTC Sensation XL. The various tariffs have a each have their own advantages and disadvantages, but provide plenty of choice for potential customers. At PhonesLimited.co.uk we compare all HTC Sensation XL deals on a daily basis, allowing you to find you perfect tariff based on your specific requirements.

An Introduction To The Handy Pattern Lock App For The iPhone 4S

If you own an Android smartphone like the HTC Sensation, you will probably be familiar with the various methods it employs to keep unauthorised users out of the phone. Some of these methods are now available for Apple devices like the iPhone 4S thanks to an app called 'Pattern Lock For iPhone'.

In this article I will look at the features this app possesses and how to use it effectively.

Connect the Dots Security
This method is likely to be familiar if you have ever used an Android smartphone. On the lockscreen, you will be presented with 9 dots (3x3 formation). You simply run your finger across the screen to match the dots forming the correct pattern to unlock the phone. This is similar to the standard pass code entry on the iPhone 4S, however you do not remove your finger from the screen after entering each number.

Fingerprint Scanner
This method of unlocking the screen is not only very secure, but is also likely to impress your friends. It works by recognising your fingerprint, and as you are probably aware, this is unique to you so it is very difficult to bypass by an unauthorised person. When the screen is locked, there will be a square on the screen where you place your finger tip. The screen will recognise your fingerprint and unlock the phone, and of course if the fingerprint is not recognised, the screen will remain locked. This is similar to the biometric fingerprint scanner on the Motorola Atrix, however this is located on the back of the phone rather than on the screen.

Alpha-Numeric Entry
This is similar to the standard pass code feature which is already used by millions of iPhone users who choose to lock their phone when not in use. However, this has the addition of a QWERTY keyboard as well as numbers so you can enter a password with many more characters than a standard pass code. This makes it very unlikely for anyone to guess your password, so is ideal for those who have private or sensitive information stored on their iPhone 4S.

If you have sensitive information on your iPhone 4S, this is an essential app, and at just £0.69 is well worth the price for the peace of mind it can bring. The app can also be assigned to specific folders on your iPhone, so even when the screen is unlocked you can restrict access to specific folders which you can customise with the apps of your choice.

Introduction to Reverse Phone Directories and Their Importance

Many people have reported that they get fake calls from different numbers that cannot be located by the official directories available in different countries. Most of these calls are received from cell phones, so land line companies cannot locate them and, according to their rules, are also unable to give any information about the cell phone user. You can also get the advantage of reverse phone directories if you are getting the calls from advertising companies. Such companies usually call using internet services and thus it is quite difficult to identify their location and block them.

reverse phone directories are not available in hard copies, but can be purchased online in the software form. These directories show the ownership of the cell phone numbers and land line numbers. Thus such directories are of real help to all people even if they have nothing to do with the intelligence organizations. You do not need to find the name of the person or any other detail to ask about the number. You can just enter the number in the directory and you will get the list. Sometimes, such fake numbers do not belong to any specific person and the directory managers have to find out the user themselves. However, it is their responsibility and none of the users have to do this. The one thing that must be kept in mind is that you must not delete the log from your phone so that you can show it as evidence after finding out the person using the directory. You might also get the other contact details like home address and the location of the person from these directories.

Another advantage of using such directories offering reverse phone look-up services is that you can check the comments of people regarding that number. Most probably the number that is annoying you will also be calling other people in the area. Thus sharing your comments and checking the comments of other people regarding the number will be a great help to you. You do not have to wander around the offices of the intelligence and telecommunication companies to get the desired information. You just need to login in the directory and enter the number. This will fetch all the information that is available to you. It is a fact that most of the time the information is authentic and reliable.

It is said by some people that these services are just fake. However, this is not the fact as nowadays directories are being used by many people who are taking advantage of it and also they are sharing their comments about the number from which they get calls. You can check their comments online and thus it is up to you whether you want to be at ease by using the directory or you want to let them bother you by calling your number. This is not only annoying but some of the times it may also become a threat if the caller gets the information about you and thus use your number for illegal purposes.

reverse phone directories are not available in hard copies, but can be purchased online in the software form. You are able to also assist other persons by while using reverse phone lookup database. Visit: http://www.callcatalog.com/
