The Stunning Motorola Droid Bionic

The beautiful and sleek Motorola Droid Bionic is as technologically advanced as it sounds while giving you a handset that outshines all the others, thanks to its stunning design.

On September 8, 2011, Verizon released this very capable smart phone and despite us having to wait an extra nine months to get our hands on this unique handset, I can safely say that it was worth the wait.

Let's take a look at why the Droid Bionic is so good:

· Length: 5.1 inches

· Width: 2.6 inches

· Depth: 0.42 inches

· Weight: 158 grams

· 1 GHz OMAP4 Dual Core Processor

· Processor Speed: 1000 MHz

· 8 Mega Pixel Rear Camera With Dual Flash & 1080p HD Video Capture

· 3G & 4G Wireless Capability

· 4.3 Inch Screen with 960 x 540 Resolution

· Touch Screen

· Operating System: Android Gingerbread 2.3.4

· Memory: 1GB RAM

· Built In Memory: 16 GB

· Maximum Size of SD Card: 32 GB

· Multi Media Player

· Music Player that Supports: Mp3, AAC, MIDI and more

· Internet Browsing that Supports HTML and Flash

· USB Port (Micro USB 2.0)

· Wi-Fi Enabled (2.4 GHz)

· Bluetooth Enabled

The Droid Bionic is proud to be the thinnest 4G LTE handset around and that is quite an achievement when you think about all the other phones out there that are trying to compete. No-one needs a huge phone that takes up too much room, but we all need one with a screen that's big enough for us to see what we are going and the Droid Bionic lets us do just this.

What's also great about this handset is it's available on the 4G network, as you may have noticed; this network is something that all manufacturers are trying so desperately to get their handsets on because it is the network of the future and is a better, faster and clearer way of making calls, sending emails, texts and the like.

Ok so the Bionic does seem a bit pricey at around $299 when it comes with a 2 year contract and $589 without, but it is definitely worth it as you will be getting a phone that works faster than any other phone you have seen.

You will often see newer phones operating very quickly but the downside is that they will need charging fairly frequently and sometimes that just isn't convenient at all. The battery that comes in the Droid Bionic lasts a very long time and it is quite impressive, which means that you can use this phone with ease and not have to hunt for your charger.

The Motorola Droid is a modern, stylish, very powerful and fast phone and with quick navigation and Gorilla Glass to protect the screen. It's extremely fast yet tough enough to withstand a whole host of knocks and bumps.

Step into the future with the Droid Bionic from Motorola while it leaves other handsets trailing behind.

Inductive charging and the Droid Bionic

Last updated: Thursday, August 11, 2011

Inductive charging isn’t new, but more and more we’re seeing handsets come to market ready to support the technology. For some time the most common inductive chargers came from Powermat, and the company sold adapters that allowed popular phones to work with their wireless charging system. This model was somewhat unsustainable, as it gave your phone
