HTC Wildfire S - A Small Pocket-Friendly Phone

H.T.C.'s Wildfire S is already available on the market and was released in May 2011; since then it's been selling very well. Although this phone cannot compete with 4G dual core handsets, it is giving a tough time to handsets that have similar specifications. The H.T.C. Wildfire S has a good combination of hardware and software; both the hardware and software support each other quite well making it a fast processing device despite its 600 MHz processor.

Here is a list of some of the phones Specifications:

· It works on the 3G network

· Is only 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4 mm

· Has a 600 MHz single core processor

· Has 512 MB of RAM

·Has 512 MB of hard drive memory

· Has a 418 MB user available memory

· A five MP back camera with LED Flash and auto-focus

· A Touch screen facility

· Comes with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with H.T.C Sense 2.1 UI

·A Lithium battery which gives you 6.5 hours of talk time

· Has Bluetooth and WiFi

· and last but not least a Micro SD card that can store up to 32GB of memory

As you can see this phone has all the main features that are required in a phone these days, but it is missing out on some rather superb ones; for instance, it doesn't support the 4G network while most of the other handsets in the market are 4G supportive. It has a 600 MHz processor which is not very much as compared to the other Android handsets that have a 1 GHz dual core processor. When we look at its price; the H.T.C. Wildfire S seems to be very cheap as it is around $200 which is quite reasonable a while every other handset is pretty expensive. The Wildfire S seems to be a good option for those who are looking for the latest Android phone that costs a lot less. Although it has a small processor and is running on Android Gingerbread 2.3; its processing speed will never be a problem as this phone is a particularly fast and smooth runner.

This handset does lack a front camera;· 4G support and Memory (It only has a 418 MB memory).

Despite its shortcomings, the H.T.C. Wildfire S is still a very good phone with regards to price, call connectivity, size, weight, the latest operating system and battery use.
